Hannah Louise Fashion is a UK based fashion, style, beauty, lifestyle and a bit of everything else blogger based in London. The blog focuses on Hannah’s personal style and outfit posts, but also includes thoughts on high street, designer and online store collections, make-up and beauty products, fashion events, travel, food, music and more. Having recently graduated from the University of Manchester with a first class law degree, Hannah is currently blogging full time. We spoke to her to find out a bit more about what the recent shift to full time has been like.
What’s your ideal Friday night out?
Any night out, as long as it ends in Karaoke!
Describe your style in 2 words
Indecisive and relatable.
You’re on a tight budget, where would you shop and why?
Probably Primark! Primark have a lot of stock that changes quite rapidly, but when you do find a good piece, I think it’s great value for money.
What is your favourite thing about blogging/what’s been the most rewarding thing about it?
My favourite thing about blogging is probably that it has allowed me to write and produce creative content on a daily basis; even before it was my full time job, it was a great platform for that.
Could you give us a short description of what your average day is like?
My days are very varied. They can include everything from full day studio shoots, to lunch meetings, to just doing my own thing with a friend and snapping some quick outfit photos then doing a write-up in the evenings.
If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?
High waist skinny jeans, a black leather jacket and high boots.
If you could be successful in another profession, what would it be?
Anything to do with writing; my main passion is writing.
Best piece of advice?
Surround yourself with creative and likeminded people.
As we draw closer to the end of 2015, what has been your most rewarding experience/biggest success this year?
Turning into a full-time blogger, graduating and being self employed here in London.
What’s the most precious thing in your wardrobe?
My leather jackets.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Really, really bad TV.
If you could live the life of anyone for a day, who would it be?
Kanye, without a doubt.
Best piece of advice for younger/newer bloggers?
- Don’t do what you don’t want to.
- Find your niche.
- Be unique.
- Stick to you.
- Be consistent.
- Most of all, enjoy it and have fun.
How do you keep up with current fashion?
By following fashion magazines and publications on social media and choosing what I find the most attractive and interesting. Also, being connected in the blogging community helps a great deal.
Hardest thing about blogging?
Starting out with the blog – it’s so difficult to decide where to start and what to focus on.
